Headteacher Welcome

Welcome to Heyford Park School

I am delighted to welcome you to Heyford Park School. Having previously served as Head of Secondary here, it is a real privilege to now lead this growing, all-through school, supporting approximately 700 children from the age of 3 through to 16. Our school is at the heart of a vibrant community, and we are proud to combine excellent facilities with a close-knit, welcoming environment where every student is known and valued.

At Heyford Park, we believe in nurturing happy, confident, and ambitious young people. Our PARK values, Positivity, Aspiration, Resilience, and Kindness, run through everything we do and underpin the culture of our school. We are committed to helping every child recognise their strengths, build resilience, and develop the skills and character they need to succeed academically and socially.

One of our unique strengths is the continuity of learning across the primary and secondary phases. By understanding where students come from at the end of Key Stage 2, we are able to provide a smooth transition into secondary education and deliver a challenging, ambitious Key Stage 3 curriculum from day one. Our Year 6 pupils play an important role in welcoming new students, helping them settle confidently and feel part of the school community immediately.

Our teachers are highly skilled, enthusiastic, and committed to helping students achieve their potential. We offer a broad and ambitious curriculum, rich enrichment opportunities, and high-quality pastoral care; all delivered within a purposeful, safe, and supportive environment. Our aim is that every child leaves Heyford Park having thrived academically, developed personally, and experienced the joy of being part of a school where community, ambition, and care go hand in hand.

We value the partnership we have with parents and carers and encourage prospective parents to get to know our school, meet our staff, and see our students in action.

I hope you enjoy exploring all that Heyford Park School has to offer and I look forward to welcoming you to our community.

Andrew Binnington, Headteacher

As Executive Headteacher for Heyford Park School, I work closely with Mr Binnington and the leadership team, supporting the continued growth and success of the school as part of the Eynsham Partnership Academy (EPA) Trust. Alongside this role, I am also the substantive Headteacher at Bartholomew School, where I have seen first-hand the strength that comes from collaboration between schools. Being part of the EPA enables us to share expertise, opportunities, and strong partnerships between staff and students across our schools. This collective approach enriches the experiences of our young people, ensuring they benefit from both the individuality of their school and the strength of being part of a wider educational community. I would warmly encourage you to visit Heyford Park School and see this in action for yourself.
