Secondary Welcome
** Secondary Open Evening **
Thursday 26th September 2024 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm
The secondary phase at Heyford Park School covers Key Stage 3 (Years 7 to 9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10 to 11). Our school day starts at 8.30am and finishes at 3.00pm - this equates to 32.5 hours a week.
Before moving onto the next phase, Heyford Park School primary students gain a valuable head start with their secondary education with access to specialist teaching in science, physical education, Spanish, art and Mandarin. This helps builds confidence as they progress to the next step, supported by dedicated teachers who are committed to a smooth transition process. This expertise also extends to those joining us in-year, ensuring seamless integration to our school community.
Secondary students at Heyford Park School go on to enjoy and inspiring, challenging and dynamic curriculum along with a range of enrichment opportunities. We believe that every child has the potential to achieve greatness and it is our aim that, in this supportive and ambitious environment, students develop into confident, accomplished individuals who feel prepared for their chosen next steps.
Post-16, students are supported to persue a range of opportunities. This includes studying in the Sixth Form at Bartholomew School, an 'Outstanding' school with consistently excellent results, also in the Eynsham Partnership Academy (EPA), where over 30 subject choices are offered at A Level and BTEC.
To arrange a visit any other time please contact the office. We look forward to meeting you!
