PE KS1 - KS4

The intent of the PE curriculum at Heyford Park is to create the very best experience for all of our learners irrelevant of their individual ability levels. We aim to create a lifelong passion for sport and physical activity, understanding the impact this has on physical, social and emotional health. Our curriculum provides opportunities to develop the whole child from the moment they enter Heyford Park focusing on physical literacy, leadership, teamwork, determination, honesty, self-belief, passion and respect. For those relishing the challenge for competitive sport our curriculum extends into the wider curriculum with a large variety of lunchtime and afterschool wellbeing and competitive sporting activities. Our knowledge-based curriculum underpins the importance of student development throughout their journey at Heyford Park allowing students the opportunity to gain further qualifications at KS4 and beyond.
